Spectrabond TPE Contact Adhesive is a ready to use synthetic, rubber based contact adhesive for adhering TPE roofing membranes onto various substrates. It is easy to apply using brush or roller and is specifically used to adhere Spectraplan TPE membranes to various substrates at upstands and details.
Spectrabond TPE Contact Adhesive should be applied to both surfaces with a brush or roller, and the adhesive should be allowed to dry for a minimum of 5 minutes in order to allow solvents to disperse. After bonding, apply pressure to the bonded area using a hand roller.
The adhesive is not suitable for sealing lap joints. All lap joints must be hot air welded.
